“Answering Darwin”

Indian Valley Lutheran Church participated in an area outreach/apologetic event in conjunction with the “BucksMont Coalition for Evangelism” and the “Institute for Creation Research” entitled “Answering Darwin”. Dr. Gary Parker and Mr. John Morris spoke on various topics from Thursday, November 5 through Sunday, November 8. Church Picnic

On Sunday afternoon, August 16, IVLC had our second annual church picnic at Green Lane Park. While it was really hot out, we had wonderful fellowship and the kids had a ball!

 

 

A New Mission

On Sunday, April 19, Living Waters Lutheran Church in Thorndale, PA, the most recent mission outreach of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, had their first worship service. We rejoice with them and will continue to keep them in our prayers. May God continue to bless their effort in the Thorndale area.

 

 

Confirmation and First Communion

On Easter Sunday, April 12, after much work and study, our first confirmand, Christian Hofmeister, joined the congregation as a confirmed member and Stefan Hofmeister joined the congregation in his first communion. Creation Controversy

Indian Valley Lutheran Church participated in an area outreach/apologetic event in conjunction with the “BucksMont Coalition for Evangelism” and “Answers in Genesis” entitled “The Creation Controversy”. Dr. David Menton and Mr. Carl Kerby spoke on various topics from Thursday, April 3 through Sunday, April 6. On Thursday at 7:00 pm, Indian Valley Lutheran Church kicked off this event by hosting Mr. Kerby, who spoke on the topic of "The Creation Museum: A Walk Through Time".
